The Ford Fusion is Leading the Way

A couple years ago the Fusion stopped offering their 1.6-liter engine with an automatic transmission and replaced it with a 1.5-litre EcoBoost to be attached to the six-speed automatic transmission.  The 1.6 was still available but only with a manual transmission which is what is not desired in the midsized sedan segment at all.  For most of us the idea of having to shift through gears manually on the way to or from work is certainly not a situation we prefer, especially after a long hard day at the office.

The Fusion however is now made to be what it should be a great midsized sedan that offers a lot of comfort while driving and makes the challenge of travelling to and from the office one that is more comfortable and relaxing than other cars in the class.  Ford has taken the Fusion and ensure there are the right features aboard in order to make sure you enjoy the ride and have the ability to listen to your favorite music, drive easily and just cruise along at a nice pace without having to worry too much about the actual driving action of the car.  This gives you a place to enjoy time away from work and take joy in the fact you don’t have to work as hard to drive as those who choose to drive a car with a manual transmission.

The new Fusion will also offer a great 2.5-liter inline four-cylinder engine that offers decent fuel mileage and 175 horsepower and 175 lb.-ft. of torque.  This engine is not turbocharged but it doesn’t need to be and keeps the price lower for you to enjoy an affordable car.  The price range of the Fusion for 2016 has a lot to do with the equipment chosen including upgraded engines, comfort items and more.  The range of price for the new Fusion comes in starting at $22,600 and tops out at $32,880 to have a Fusion that is nearly luxury in the features included.

The interior of the Fusion is comfortable with the stitched leather seating and the connectivity of the MyFord Touch system.  The controls are cleanly laid out to be an easy to use and enjoy design.  In the rear passengers will enjoy plenty of legroom and supportive comfortable seats along with the great feeling of a car that offers a climate control system for the rear seat to ensure the ride can be at the right temperature as much as it’s comfortable.
